In our classroom, our community is built around respect and cooperation. Students are encouraged to work together, share ideas, and feel safe learning and growing. I know this year may look a little different, but together we will tackle each challenge and make this year the best one yet!

Contribute to Our Classroom! Many parents have asked what we need for the classroom. We have a lot of supplies already provided by our Title I funds, however, I do have a Teachers Pay Teachers fund that you can contribute to if you would like. I use this website for resources all the time, so I would truly appreciate it! Click here to learn more!

I hope this website provides all the information you need for our class!
I am originally from Sudbury, Massachusetts, where I was born and raised. I went to Colby College and majored in English with a concentration in Creative Writing. After college, I coached basketball for two years at Roger Williams University. In 2012, I came down to South Carolina for graduate school and earned my master's degree in Elementary Education at The College of Charleston in 2014. Since then, I have taught both fourth and fifth grade.

This will be my 7th year of teaching, and my 3rd year at Hanahan Elementary. I have also gotten back into coaching in the Hanahan community. I coach the Hanahan High School Girls JV Volleyball and JV Basketball teams. In my free time, I enjoy reading, playing kickball, traveling, spending time with friends, and going to the beach or pool. Over the summer, I spent a lot of time on Cape Cod visiting my parents. I also have two sisters, one older and one younger.
